Through a former capstone project, Alabama Trails, the MIS program discovered a large demand from organizations state-wide that need to quickly and easily build a customized website without staffing an experienced web-developer.
Our solution is the TACT (Tourist Application Configuration Tool). The data driven software will allow the creation of user-defined fields and tables. Our goal is to re-architect the Trails project to make it extensible by the customer while still retaining the core features (Google Maps API, Search/Filtering, etc.).
Using this tool, small organizations will be capable of building a customized, tourist-oriented site with relative ease and low cost. The technologies being implemented in this project are: ASP.NET MVC 5, SQLite, Trello, and Team Foundation Server (TFS)
