In CS 220, we have been learning new concepts about creating classes and object-oriented programming using the C# language. So far we have had two pass/fail assignments, two graded assignments, and this past week we had our first mini-exam. We have just started learning about inheritance and polymorphism and will continue to learn more after Fall Break.
The transfer from C++ to C# hasn’t been extremely easy. While the logic in C# is mostly the same, the syntax is a good bit different. C# also has classes and objects which are taking time to get used to. In the meantime our professor, Ed Hassler, has offered help sessions on Monday nights. Being able to have that time to ask questions and for him to walk through it with us has helped a lot.
