MIS Events: Honors Day

Honors Day here at Alabama allows for the brightest and most deserving students to receive awards. On Friday April 6, 2012, students brought family members to AIME for a delicious lunch, which was prepared by Cypress Inn. This allowed for students to introduce their parents to faculty members and other fellow MIS students. Once everybody was stuffed full of catfish, discussed what projects people are working on, and where everybody is going for an internship this summer, students and family members ventured over to Alston Hall. Here familes got to listen to Dr. Hale and others present awards, speak about projects, and discuss certain student’s achievements. All of us here in the MIS program look forward to this day because it allows for everybody to see how hard each individual is working.
