Art, to me, is a way of having a different perspective. This past Thursday, February 23rd the Women in Information Technology went to Uptown Art: Uncorked to see each other from a different perspective. A great dinner was provided by Zoe’s and we were able to purchase wine or coke products as well. We not only learned to paint a cute baby elephant, but we were able to see each other in a different light outside of the classroom. There was also a cup stacking competition with prizes ranging from gift certificates to a painting of the winner’s choice. We even learned about some hidden artistic abilities we otherwise would have never discovered! Art, delicious food, and friends …who could have asked for a better Thursday night with a great group of girls?
