The MIS Recruitment Open House was, in my opinion, a success. It gave potential MIS students a chance to see where MIS will lead them. Students began showing up rather quickly and were greeted with smiling faces and pizza. We all stood around for a little while and explained what MIS is and how great of a program it can be for anyone. The Ambassadors then took one or two potential students through the AIME building and introduced them to the Capstone project groups. The experience was rewarding for both the potential students and the Ambassadors. The recruits were able to view the Capstone projects and listen to the seniors present their projects and share their experiences with the MIS program. As an Ambassador, it gave me the chance to network with upperclassmen, practice leadership and communication skills by explaining MIS to potential recruits, and give.
