This semester our team has been working on a project with Sterne, Agee & Leach, Inc. Since August, we have been researching ways to automatically upload documents to an online repository. This repository will allow Sterne Agee’s clients to access the reports in a secure central location.
We have developed several potential solutions. Now, we have reached a point to begin testing the solutions to understand which will work best, but we have had trouble obtaining the testing materials. This is highly attributed to difficulties Sterne Agee is having getting the materials from third parties.
The team has learned that it is imperative to identify when you will need materials. If we had stressed the importance earlier, then we might have the materials by now. If we could offer any advice, it is to plan ahead; know what you are going to do well before you ever do it.
