Our team has been working with Procter & Gamble for almost 2 months now on our project. Initially, we thought we would be evaluating the option of whether to buy or build an application to visualize the sales data report, but we have now moved forward with benchmarking existing business intelligence applications for the iPad. After getting in contact with several stakeholders, topic experts, and vendors our team has narrowed the potential solutions down to two iPad applications.
In the next week, we will have made a decision regarding which solution we will move forward with. Currently, we are in contact with the two vendors scheduling demos, Q&A sessions, and assessing application trial versions we have downloaded. Once we have decided on the best solution for the Procter & Gamble, we will begin developing our implementation plan.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this project so far. The innovative nature of the technology we are using has really made it an interesting learning experience. We have a great team, project manager, faculty sponsor, and client to go along with it, which makes working on the project that much better. I am both eager and excited to see the finished product of our project, and look forward to the rest of this semester!
