A plethora of entrepreneurial training material is scattered across the internet today, but there is not a definitive e-learning system that centralizes all of this information and provides aspiring entrepreneurs with easy access to the course material they need to develop successful businesses. Our Capstone Experience Team is working with a group of entrepreneurial subject matter experts (SME) in order to provide a much needed solution to this issue.
These SMEs have a vast amount of knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship. They also have a passion to help others define and nurture their own ideas for new businesses. They desire a solid online platform through which they can provide applicable business education to budding entrepreneurs. Their goal is to develop an easy-to-use and engaging online e-learning system that can host all of their educational materials, as well as provide a community where participants can find support from fellow entrepreneurs.
In order to assist them in the realization of this goal, the UA-MIS EELS team will research the various forms of e-learning delivery methods found on the Internet today, develop prototypes incorporating the most applicable methods with the educational content they are provided with, and then devise an execution plan for the delivery of each content element.
We are really excited to take part in this initiative that will benefit the more than 7 million aspiring entrepreneurs in the U.S. We cannot wait to see how this project will enable these entrepreneurs to achieve their dream of becoming successful business owners!
